Awesome Adventure In-Person Classes

We are so excited to invite children into in-person Awesome Adventure classes!  In all seasons, we exist to partner with parents to lead children to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to help them seek the good of the West Shore and beyond through deep truth, deep lives, and deep love for the glory of Christ.  

We know that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, so we enter this new phase of ministry with expectant and grateful hearts for all that He will do!!

Safety Protocols

Wellness Policy:  
We want to keep children safe and healthy in Awesome Adventure, but we need you to help us with that. Please review our wellness policy for everyone’s protection. Help us love all families well by staying home if you or your children are experiencing any symptoms on the list. 

Masks & Social Distancing 
Ministry partners in ALL areas plus children in the preschool & elementary classrooms will need to wear face coverings unless medically or otherwise unable to do so as specified by the PA Department of Health in the Universal Face Covering Order FAQ.

This guidance allows individuals who are speaking to an audience to remove their face coverings while speaking, as long as they are social distancing. So, the primary teacher in the preschool or elementary class may remove their face covering while they teach as long as they maintain a 6’ distance from the students 

Food:  
We will not be serving any food during our class time and no snacks from home will be permitted with the exception of bottles and formulaDiaper bags and backpacks are permitted in the rooms. 

Hygiene & Sanitation:   
We are increasing sanitation in all of our spaces and alternating the use of many of our classrooms on Sunday mornings. The sharing of objects will be limited where feasible, and children will be reminded to wash or sanitize their hands at appropriate times.   

Bathroom Use:  
Children will be allowed to use the bathrooms, but bathroom use prior to leaving for church is recommended.   

Pre-Registration

Children will need to be pre-registered to attend an Awesome Adventure class, just as attendees need to register to attend our indoor worship services. This will help to accommodate smaller classes and size.  This will prevent you from arriving to church only to find out their classroom is full. 

Pre-registration opens at 9 a.m. on Monday for the upcoming Sunday services. 

Classroom options close and disappear from the website when the class is full or 24hours prior to the class start time (whichever comes first). If you don’t see your child’s class at the specific time you were planning on coming, we encourage you to see if there is a class opening during the opposite service.

Check-In Process

Checkin all Awesome Adventure participants at the west, lower level lobby entrance. This includes all nursery and preschool attendees. Please park on the lower level.  (Please note: the gym doors will be unavailable for entry.) 

Doors will open 15 minutes prior to the start of service & make sure to arrive early to give your family extra time to get through the check-in process. Please bring a copy (printed or digital) of your registration to show when you check-in. 

Everyone who wants to enter an Awesome Adventure class will have their temperature taken with a no-touch thermometer and will be asked a few wellness questions. Ministry partners will then check-in your family in & send the registration to the printers. You can take your children to their ministry areas, where they will get a squirt of hand sanitizer before they walk back to their classroom. 

Parents must have their cellphones with them and turned on so they may be contacted if needed. 

Pick-Up Process

We ask that you pick up your children right after the service ends so that we have adequate time to clean and prepare for the next group of children. You are welcome to socialize outdoors on our grounds after you pick up your children!
