Christmas Services

Advent Season at West Shore Free Church

We love celebrating the Christmas season with our church family. Over the month of December, we will focus on the first and last coming of Christ. He helplessly came in a manger and will triumphantly return!

Christmas Eve Services

Dec. 23 | 6:30 p.m.

Dec. 24 | 3:30, 5 & 6:30 p.m.

We will have four, identical Christmas Eve candlelight services celebrating the birth of Jesus.

There will be no childcare during the Christmas Eve services, but a room with the service streamed to if your children get antsy.

December Events

08 – Kidz4Him Musical | 9 & 10:45 a.m.
Our Kidz4Him choir will perform the Christmas story told by shepherds, angels, “out-of-towner”…and singing, talking sheep along the way. There will be no lower-level, elementary children’s ministry as families are invited to worship together.

15 – A-Team Dinner Theater | 5 p.m.
Our disability ministry, the A-Team, will perform the Christmas story “In Bethlehem Inn” while attendees will enjoy a delicious dinner. If you don’t have a ticket, you’re invited to attend and sit in the balcony for free (dinner will not be served.)

22 – Sunday Morning Services | 9 & 10:45 a.m.
We will hold two regular services on Sunday, December 22.

If this is your first time attending a worship service with us, here is some helpful information:

The sanctuary is located in the center of the main, upper level and you are welcome to sit in any seat.  Each service is comprised of a combination of music, teaching, and prayer which lasts 70 – 75 minutes. You can expect to hear a compelling sermon from the Bible, grounded in God’s word.

Our worship music is designed to lead all generations into worship. You are encouraged to stand, sit, or raise your hands as you prepare your heart. To prepare our hearts for worship we use a variety of musical styles and songs which include choruses, worship songs and hymns.

Christmas Eve Offering

One of our rhythms to grow in generosity is our Christmas Eve offering, which allows us to grow our faith by trusting God with our resources. Beyond our normal giving on a Sunday, this offering allows us to further express our thanksgiving to God and live out our mission to seek the good of the West Shore & beyond…for the glory of Christ.
As you and your family consider what God is asking of you, begin recognizing that all we have and all that we are belongs to Him. What is our best love offering that we can give to the Lord?
This year, we have joyfully decided to focus our giving towards bringing hope and love to children locally and globally.

Hope Walks | Provide freedom from clubfoot and greater yet – the opportunity to start walking with Jesus

Center for Champions | Share the love of Jesus through life on life mentoring relationships

Brethren Housing Association | Help individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness, achieve their God-given potential

*Please plan your gifts accordingly.
