Bible Study

Women's Bible Studies

February 19 -April 30

We offer a variety of classes on Tuesday mornings, Tuesday, and Sunday evenings through the school year to help women learn and grow in their walks with God.

Tuesday Morning Studies | 9 a.m.

Have you ever asked the question “Lord what is your will for my life?” Do you ever wonder if God is calling you to do something amazing for him, but everyday life overwhelms you, and you seem to have little or no time to devote to finding out what that amazing thing is? We have the tendency to seek answers, when in reality, the answers are found when we seek our Savior. In order to answer the call, we need to hear the one calling us deeper into a relationship with Him. We are CALLED to need…to be…to see…to know…to grow…and to sow.

He explains: “As God leads us into ceasing, He empowers us to recapture who we are against the backdrop of His magnificence, both in character and purpose…when we dive into God’s magnificent power and strength, allowing Him to refresh our souls, we accomplish and lead more than we could ever hope or dream.”

The opening lines and chapters of Genesis teach us fundamental truths about God. We watch Him bring light after darkness, order after chaos, and rest after toil – all through the power of His Word. Dive into the first 11 chapters of Genesis, verse by verse, going through three critical stages of understanding: comprehension, interpretation, and application. As God reveals Himself through Scripture, we can only begin to understand ourselves when we first glimpse the character, attributes, and promises of our creator.

Whether you’ve grown up hearing Bible stories or you’re exploring Scripture for the first time, the full story of the Bible can be overwhelming. In this study, we will be learning how the whole Bible from Genesis to Revelation connects as one beautiful, seamless thread. We will strive to understand the Bible as a whole, as we change the way we look at Scripture and connect with people, places, and promises of God’s word in a fresh way.

Ever ask the questions: “Am I really saved? How can I know if I have eternal life? If God is a God bringing light to the darkness and a God of love, then what does it look like to live in that light, and how do we love different if we are his?” The class is an inductive bible study for the novice and the seasoned Bible student. Even if you’ve never studied a book of the Bible before, this class is for you as we grow the skills necessary to learn from the Word which God has entrusted to each of us.

Of the original two million Israelites who received God’s invitation to enter the promised land, only two actually entered it! Similarly, we often hear and understand the promises of God, but rarely choose to experience them in everyday life. Priscilla invites us to change that pattern for good, living beyond our circumstances and expecting to see God move in miraculous ways. Without a doubt, we can find and follow God’s purpose for our promised land!
