We begin our study this fall with an examination of the Gospel of Mark, material published by Tim Keller (Redeemer Presbyterian Church, Manhattan) and adapted by West Shore's Jim Makowski. Jim will be joined by a host of teachers/pastors as we are lead through the life and character of Jesus.

We invite Man2Man groups to make use of this study time, although ALL MEN are invited to join us each week. Come as you are and as often as you are able and we will welcome you every time.

*For newcomers, the Blue Room is located just to the right of the upstairs main entrance, off the main lobby and across from the Bookstore.

"Standing Firm"

Despite Corinthians 16:13-14, there are times we're too weary to be alert, too discouraged to stand firm, too confused to act, and just too weak to "be strong." And how does a godly man "love" anyway? Elsewhere in the Bible we're told that "if you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all (Isaiah 7:9 NIV)."

So how do we stand firm as men? How do we move from being self absorbed to Christ exalting? From overwhelmed to overjoyed? From isolated and insulated to connected and faithful? And how do we become like Jesus?

Welcome to Man2Man—a ministry, or as we like to call it—a movement, designed solely to enable West Shore men to become better husbands, better fathers and better workers in a world desperate for God's salt and light.

This three-fold goal gets discovered and realized inside a relation context: our relationships with one another—our brothers—and our relationship with Jesus Christ, our brother and king.

How do we do it?
Through Bible studies, sports, small groups, special events and service opportunities, we keep men standing firm.
